This is my Amiga desktop from November 1, 1996. The screenshot is still on Aminet under mid-bench, although getting the image took a working mirror. Midnight was my handle.

My Amiga Workbench on November 1, 1996, with tiled Klingon emblems, application docks along the bottom and right edges, and a clock showing 18:10:25.
The 640-by-512 screenshot from my A3000T, preserved in the Aminet upload. View the original JPEG.

The readme I uploaded with it lists an A3000T with a 68040 at 40 MHz, Spectrum/CGfx graphics, 50 MB of RAM, and 3 GB of hard drive space. That’s a different machine from the A1200 in the restored BBS’s system information.

I signed off with “Using Amigas since 1986!” and gave the hardware specs two exclamation marks. The Klingon wallpaper can speak for itself.

The Aminet listing and working image mirror are still available. I’ve saved a copy here too.
